Good therapy starts with a precise diagnosis.
Careful diagnostics form the basis of every neurosurgical treatment. Our goal is to identify the root cause of your symptoms as precisely as possible and, on this foundation, jointly establish the most appropriate treatment options.
We begin with an extensive medical consultation and a targeted neurological and neurosurgical examination. Among other things, we assess motor strength, sensory function, reflexes, coordination, and gait, as well as painful or functionally restricted areas of the body.
Depending on your symptoms, existing MRI, CT, and X-ray images are thoroughly evaluated and correlated with your complaints and clinical examination findings. If necessary, we arrange further or specialized imaging. Emergency imaging is initiated directly through our practice, while all other scheduled examinations are conducted by primary care colleagues.
To objectively assess nerve and muscle function, we perform neurophysiological examinations directly in our practice. Depending on the clinical question, these include electroneurography/nerve conduction velocity tests (ENG/NCV), F-waves, electromyography (EMG), and evoked potentials.
For complex or unclear complaints, we combine findings from clinical examination, imaging, and neurophysiology. When required, we supplement diagnostics with targeted diagnostic infiltrations or further specialized procedures. This creates a comprehensive assessment of your condition – serving as the basis for individually tailored conservative, interventional, or surgical therapy.

These examinations help accurately localize nerve compression, nerve injury, or functional impairment and evaluate its severity. Findings are always interpreted in conjunction with medical history, clinical examination, and imaging to guide targeted treatment.
Our Goal: Clear diagnostics, transparent treatment decisions, and continuous medical support – individually tailored to you.
